If you'd like to help
people who are in hospital to relax by listening to music, you could
be part of the hospital radio service. We need more
volunteers to sign up to our small team of people who give up their spare time
to keep the station running
Whether a ward
visitor or presenter,
every individual is an important part of our organisation
Although some members
have gone on to be successful professional presenters, the station is
not for "wannabe DJs". Radio Halton expects a level of commitment
from new volunteers, who must be focussed on the patients
Warrington
and Halton Hospitals NHS Trust
requires
volunteers wishing to join Radio Halton to go through the same
recruitment process as applicants for jobs in the hospital. You
will need to
be aged 17 or over
provide two referees
not related to you; one must be your employer or tutor
complete an Occupational Health questionnaire and
undergo a Criminal
Records Bureau (CRB) check
If you have
2 hours a week free and want to apply, please email us
or phone01928
753417 and we'll send you an application pack by email or post
