If you'd like to help
people who are in hospital to relax by listening to music, you could
be part of the hospital radio service. We need more
volunteers to sign up to our small team of people who give up their spare time
to keep the station running
Whether a ward
visitor or ward visitor who also presents a programme,
every individual is an important part of our organisation
Although some members
have gone on to be successful professional radio presenters, the station is
not for "wannabe DJs". Radio Halton expects a good level of
commitment
from new volunteers, who must be focussed on the patients
