"Hi there, I’m John Kenwright
I‘ve had a keen
interest in music ever since I started to learn guitar at the age of 8.
As one of a family of nine kids on a local council estate, music lessons
were out. But determination led me to play in different groups, duos,
trios, you name it.
In my late teens our
band toured the American army bases across Germany followed by 25 or so
years semi professional work back in UK with different bands.
If I can help towards
making a person’s stay in hospital a little more pleasant by visiting them
on the ward and playing some of their favourite music it makes
volunteering worthwhile."
