Derry says, “I’ve been a
volunteer at Radio Halton for over 20 years and I still love what I do. I do
three afternoon shows a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My favourite
type of music is country and middle of the road and I go hunting for new and
old recordings in the shops
I sometimes play the music
for line dancing nights in the Wirral. Watching films is something I like to
do, either on the TV or at the cinema.”
Join Derry on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday afternoons
between 2 and 5 o'clock, when he features country music in the last hour
of the programme. Derry is always willing to help when we have
events like awareness stalls, and raises funds for us by way of the
collection box
